Admission Criteria

Priority I: Students with indicators of educational disadvantages pursuing STEM degrees under the School of Science and Technology. This includes students from low-income households, students receiving financial aid, students who are first in their family to attend college, students from educationally disadvantaged high schools, students whose primary language spoken at home is not English, and students from non-traditional homes.

Priority II: Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) students are eligible for the MEP program. We actively recruit through EOP advisors.

Priority III: Past participation - Local MCCP students from Santa Rosa Junior College are automatically accepted provided they pursue a STEM degree under the School of Science and Technology.


MESA students must be declared STEM majors. Additional majors/minors may be considered on a case by case basis.
